GO has once again pledged its full support to Inspire, the local foundation that promotes inclusion, and currently assists over 1,000 children and adults with learning and physical disabilities. As a result of GO’s continued support, Inspire’s team players − administrators, medical staff, carers, volunteers and the beneficiaries of Inspire services − currently enjoy the advantages of high speed Internet powered by GO. The service is strategically installed in the foundation’s state-of-the-art therapeutic and leisure centres spread around Malta.
Inspire is a fusion of two non-governmental organisations (NGOs) involved in the disability field. The two NGOs – Eden Foundation and Razzett tal-ĦHbiberija – joined forces to help children and adults with learning and physical disabilities across their six centres in Malta and Gozo. Inspire’s services and programmes address the educational, therapeutic, social and recreational needs of the people it supports – with a strong focus on ability and potential.
The foundation’s vision is to see complete inclusion of people with disabilities living in the community – be it in schools, at the workplace and even in a leisure time environment. Through the high-powered range of services – most of which are free or come at minimal charge – the dedicated team of carers, administrators and volunteers at the Foundation aims to understand the needs of individuals under their care and maximise participation and quality of life for everyone without exception.
GO’s outstanding high-speed internet service strategically installed at the two Inspire centres in Bulebel and Marsascala will step up communications enormously in the course of work carried out by the administration team, the medical contingent and carers, and will play an important role in the programmes specially drawn up for people with disabilities Thanks to high-speed internet powered by GO, the centres now boast hands-on experience of GO’s premium communications services.

“Our company has, for many years, supported projects undertaken by the two team players in the Inspire project – Razzett tal-Hbiberija and Eden Foundation – and has contributed generously to both causes in the form of financial assistance and also via GO’s top-notch communication services.
“The initiative underscores our strong involvement with the Maltese community at large and proves that GO is committed to the principles of effective Corporate Social Responsibility,” Ms Jourdan said.
During a walk around the premises, CEO Nathan Farrugia thanked GO for its ongoing support over the years. He stressed that the Foundation relied on the support of caring companies like GO to reach its goal, which entailed being there for adults and children with disabilities and offering them − and their families − the best quality of life humanly possible.
“As a result of the continued support it receives from a number of local commercial companies including GO and the ongoing drive of its dedicated fund-raising team, Inspire boasts a range of ultramodern rehabilitation, therapeutic, recreational and leisure-educational services that it generally offers on a complimentary basis all the year round to people and children with a disability,” he said.
