Businessmen will be able to take part in some 15 Malta Enterprise international events during this year during which they will be able to explore foreign market opportunities. The government has committed a budget of €350,000 for the activities.

Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said the government helps businesses to send commercial delegations abroad, and take part in leading fairs, assisted by Malta Enterprise. In 2010 a total of 155 enterprises took part in eight commercial delegations and six specialised fairs. 28 other companies were helped in other events in which Malta Enterprise was not involved.
