University students can kick-start their career now by enrolling in the Vodafone Malta University Students Programme.
With so many people attending university, competition for places is greater than ever and finding a good graduate job is hard at the best of times.
“Apart from being the leader in the mobile telecommunications market, Vodafone Malta makes substantial contributions to the local community and the environment. As demand continues to grow, we seek to recruit and develop people who show a passion for innovation and growth,” said head of Human Resources Martin Gregory.
“Vodafone Malta provides a stimulating working environment that gives our team room to be innovative. We believe in a workplace where reward is based on outstanding performance, and we continually endeavour to develop progressive and flexible work practices and provide continuous opportunities for our employees’ career development.”
Participating in the Vodafone University Students Programme provides valuable work experience and increases the chances of securing a job. Meaningful work experience while at university means better prospects later on in life. Apart from having the corporate brand on their CV, being part of an international and equality certified company gives students an ideal opportunity to be offered full time employment after graduation. It gives students the chance to understand Vodafone’s culture and to be introduced to working life.
Participating students will receive induction training and on-the-job learning, regular feedback to help their career development, communications and equipment benefits and support during the preparation of their dissertation.
To be eligible for participation, students must be in the penultimate year of their course. A CV, with a covering letter, should be sent to [email protected]. All applications will be acknowledged and treated with the strictest confidence. The closing date for applications is 28 February.
All short-listed applicants may be asked to participate in a final selection during an assessment day. Further information about the programme is available from Vodafone Malta’s website www.vodafone.com.mt
