Both the Malta Tourism Authority and Malta Enterprise have committed to promoting the Malta Property Expo 2011 overseas.

Travel journalists have an important role to project a good image of the islands and a healthy property market is an added attraction for visiting tourists.

ME Chairman Alan Camilleri said Malta Enterprise is lending its support by promoting the Expo among its contacts around the world, ensuring foreign interest in the Expo will be high.

“The Malta Property Expo 2011 is an event that deserves to be an attraction for prospective foreign investors and we are therefore supporting it so that as many people as possible who intend to visit the islands in the first quarter of 2011 will time their visit to coincide with this top property exhibition,” Mr Camilleri said.

According to David Grech, who is in charge of Events and Business Development at Duplex Real Estate Branding, the Expo’s organisers, only a handful of stands remain to be booked.

“Thanks to the various innovations we are introducing this year, the take-up has been extremely positive and anyone who has not yet expressed an interest to take up space is advised to contact us as soon as possible.”

The Malta Property Expo 2011 is being held at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre from 17 to 20 March.
