For the first time in Malta and Gozo, Melita will be broadcasting the NBA All-Star Game in HD on Stars HD (Channel 620) live from Staples Centre in Los Angeles at 2am on 21 Februay.

NBA is “Where Amazing Happens” and the NBA All-Star Game brings together some of the most talented and international reknowned players from the top basketball teams across America, for a celebration of the game. What better way to experience this basketball extravaganza than High Definition broadcasting?

In the Eastern Conference Dwayne Wade and LeBron James of the Miami Heat will be starting alongside an incredible line-up including Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, , Amar’e Stoudemire of the New York Knicks and Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. The Western Conference starting line-up consists of the L.A. Lakers’ Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Denver Nuggets’ Carmelo Anthony and Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets (who has been replaced by Kevin Love of the Minnesota Timberwolves).

Melita will also broadcast the annual NBA All-Star Game live in Standard Defintion on All Stars (Channel 617) for the 4th consecutive season.
