Vodafone – Malta’s market leader in mobile communication services – is celebrating the refurbishment of its retail outlet in Paola. This retail outlet has been open and serving Vodafone customers for the past ten years and is now the latest Vodafone shop to be refurbished.
The aim behind this refurbishment is to provide a delightful experience to all Vodafone customers who will be better served from this outlet. The shop was closed at the end of January and it is ready again for business only six weeks later. During the time when the shop was closed for refurbishment, Vodafone continued serving its customers by stationing its mobile shop in front of the Paola retail outlet on peak days.
The aim of the refurbishment is to enhance the customer experience in Vodafone’s retail touch point by giving a modern look to the outlet. The refurbished outlet has a greet area and a service area distinguishably separate from one another. The new design provides a spacious and welcoming environment which offers more space for Smartphones display, a wider range of branded accessories as well as various other Vodafone products and services.

The Paola outlet is excellently positioned to give a dedicated service to our loyal customers and to prospective new customers alike particularly since it is situated in the Paola Square which is a very busy location,” said Elken Calleja, Retail Operations Senior Executive at Vodafone Malta. “The new Vodafone Paola outlet will continue offering all services that we have always provided. Moreover it will provide a vast range of mobile phones and accessories in a modern re-designed outlet for the delight of our customers.”
The whole project was managed by ArchiTACT together with Saviour Camilleri Design who took care of the design, architectural input and project management. The design was chosen because it incorporates all the elements that Vodafone required for this shop while maximizing available space and ensuring adequate display areas and customer flow. Moreover the colour scheme chosen is consistent with the Vodafone brand guidelines for retail outlets. Mirrors were also used to provide depth and large colourful murals were included to provide the outlet with a vibrant splash of colour.
“Refurbishing the Paola outlet reflects the Vodafone tradition while incorporating a fresh design based on customer experience. Indeed the layout designed affords the customer enough time to browse around new products until a personal service is rendered,” said architect Trinity Fava from ArchiTACT.
All Vodafone customers are invited to visit the new Vodafone Paola outlet, during the opening hours which are Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm and from 3 to 7pm and Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00.
