Scotts Supermarkets will be holding an Awareness and Fundraising Week, in aid of The Malta Hospice Movement. All patrons shopping at any of the seven Scotts supermarket outlets on these dates will have the opportunity to learn more about the services offered by The Malta Hospice Movement, through information points available. Scotts’ staff members will be sporting the Hospice Sunflower, as part of their uniform. Collecting tins will be available for customers wishing to make a donation.
Scotts Supermarket is always ready to help organisations like The Malta Hospice Movement in its endeavor to help the Maltese society. Such organisations serve to manifest the solidarity of the Maltese people when the need arises.
Proceeds from this fundraising initiative will go towards the continuation of Palliative Care support which The Malta Hospice Movement offers to persons suffering from cancer, motor neurone disease and other terminal diseases, as well as support to their families. Palliative Care focuses on the medical, physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of every person. All the services offered by The Malta Hospice Movement are provided free of charge.
