Hyundai has hosted an open week on selected models and versions that are in stock and which can be viewed at the Hyundai showroom in Valley Road, Birkirkara during which interested buyers were invited to visit the showroom and test-drive the various attractive vehicles.

“This was another event that we hosted at our showroom to help people understand why Hyundai cars are renowned for safety, reliability, style, quality and better overall value,” explained Francesca Mamo, managing director at Meridien Enterprises, importers and distributors of Hyundai in Malta.

These past few years have seen the Hyundai brand climb high both in terms of style and positioning and in terms of the value to customers. Hyundai’s global performance in March saw the sale of 38,877 passenger cars, an increase of 9.6% on the same period last year. Global sales, which include domestic and overseas sales amounted to 324,959 vehicles, an increase of 1.7% over March last year.

Referring to the ‘i’ range, Ms Mamo said that if a buyer is looking for a car that is first and foremost safe, stylish, economical and most importantly at an exceptional value for money, the Hyundai “i” series definitely has it all. “The Hyundai ‘i’ range namely the i10, i20 and i30 make up a very special range of models which have contributed a lot to the success and growth rate that Hyundai has experienced throughout these past two years.”

Hyundai has also seen a growing list of prestigious awards, including WHICH? Best City Car award in January 2010’s AutoExpress New Car Awards, three CAR OF THE YEAR awards from three international sources and WHAT CAR? (Magazine) Car of The Year 2010 as the BEST BUY SUPERMINI.
