MaltaPost has opened a new branch at the University of Malta’s campus. The new branch was opened by MaltaPost plc CEO Joseph Gafà and University Rector Professor Juanito Camilleri and aims to provide a quality service to the university’s thousands of students and academic, administrative and technical staff.

The post office offers all the basic postal services available at other MaltaPost branches as well as encashing Central Bank of Malta cheques and selling a wide variety of stationery and greeting cards. The branch is located on the ground floor of the Administration Building and is open from Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 1.30pm and 2.30pm and 4.00pm.

“We believe in taking our services to different sectors and communities. Our branch at university gives us the opportunity to cater in a personalised way to this community” said MaltaPost CEO Joseph Gafà.

The new branch is designed to reflect the company’s new image and branding. The interiors are decorated in the new corporate colours of red and black, intended to match the iconic red and black pillar boxes throughout the island. The new emblem captures MaltaPost’s core values and reflects its intention to enter and develop new markets and services by taking advantage of opportunities as they arise.
