The General Contracts Committee announced that at its meeting held on Tuesday it had recommended that Morpho from the Saphran Group be awarded the €1.592 million tender for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of a complete automated fingerprint identification system for the Malta Police Force and for the migration of existing records to the new system.
The committee also announced that Attrans Commercials Ltd has been awarded the €218,000 tender for the provision of two special utility vehicles with built-in floodlight system also for the Malta Police Force.
ICT Consortium has been awarded the €351,000 tender for what is called a Small Ships Register including online services.
The companies TBWA/ANG, ArgonautenG2 Gmbh and Lighthouse & Ashley have been awarded the tender for the provision of a marketing agency in destination marketing.
The Contracts Committee also announced that the tender for the dredging of the fairway leading to the Marsaxlokk Menqa has been cancelled.
