The HSBC branch in Sta Venera reopened for business offering full banking services on Friday. The branch had been temporarily closed and relocated following a fire incident caused by an electrical fault in a small section of the branch. No one was injured and no assets were damaged in the incident.

In the meantime, a survey was carried out and the electrical fault was identified and rectified.

HSBC regrets any inconvenience this may have caused to customers and thanks all personnel involved for their support.
