The Yellow Pages Are back

Malta Independent Wednesday, 28 September 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

The Yellow Pages is back with its 13th edition 2011/2012 and some interesting innovations. This time round, Malta’s most consulted yellow book sports a brand new cover designed by MCAST Institute of Art & Design student Luca Cauchi. This cover design came about thanks to a successful collaboration between MCAST and Yellow Pages Malta, which collaboration tapped into local talent at source.

The distribution of the new directory books is currently underway and will take ten days to be completed. It is involving 90 people who have been purposely employed by the company to carry out the distribution of 213,200 directories which amount considerably exceeds last year’s print run. Contemporarily, distributors of the directory will as usual, be collecting all unwanted directories for recycling purposes as part of Yellow Pages Malta’s environmental responsibility.

The 13th edition is bigger and better than ever and includes restaurant guide, maps, white pages and the innovation of a set of pages containing a considerable number coupons which can be exchanged for discounts on product prices and service costs being offered by varied business outlets featured within the directory. These coupons will be supplemented on a monthly basis through the Yellow Pages website.
