Europe’s finest real estate agents, developers, architects and interior designers gathered at The Park Lane Hotel in Mayfair, London last month for the announcement of the winners of the hotly contested European Property Awards. Frank Salt Real Estate Limited was among Malta’s entries, with the company contesting in the Best Real Estate, Best Lettings Agency, Best Marketing and Best Website categories.

Throughout the evening you could cut the tension with a knife among the 100 or so European participants in the various categories, and the Malta delegation leaped with joy when Frank Salt Real Estate Limited was announced as the winner in not one, but all four categories contested. The company was in fact chosen as Malta’s Best Real Estate Agency, Malta’s Best Lettings Agency and Malta’s Best Real Estate Marketing. The company was also highly commended for its website www.franksalt.com.mt. And the icing on the cake was that Frank Salt Real Estate also won the award as Best Lettings Agency in Europe!

Stuart Shields, chairman of the International Property Awards, said, “The objective of these awards is to accomplish excellence in the property industry worldwide and to promote an international standard.”

Managing director Joseph Lupi said, “We at Frank Salt Real Estate Limited consider the quality and standard of service we provide very seriously and that is why we are very pleased with the results, having been awarded in four categories. This is definitely no small feat and goes to show that regardless of the size of our island we have much to offer and can compete on an international level. As for Frank Salt Real Estate itself, the results once again attest that we are indeed the market leaders, dominating the market in both sales and letting of property.”

Company director Douglas Salt complimented the team of consultants and support staff for making such results possible and invited those thinking of embarking on a fruitful and rewarding life career to consider taking up property consultancy.

The International Property Awards are organised in association with Bloomberg Television and Google. Established 17 years ago, they are the world’s most prestigious property competition and cover residential as well as commercial categories. Judging is carried out through a meticulous process involving a panel of over 80 experts and covers every aspect of the property business. 2011 saw the participation of over a 100 contestants in the various European fields. The ultimate World’s Best in each category will be unveiled when the final results are revealed later on this year.

Frank Salt Real Estate Limited is not a new face at the International Property Awards, having also participated and received Best Real Estate Agency Award for Malta in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
