Gasan Enterprises Ltd has always been dedicated to contributing towards a greener environment. The company was the first Maltese car importer to support the Clear Air 34U campaign back in 2007 and continues to believe that it is ethically duty bound to contribute its share towards offsetting carbon emissions created by cars. Last year saw the launch of yet another 34U green initiative that confirms Gasan Enterprises Ltd.’s long-standing commitment to environmental issues. Gasan created awareness by engaging clients with the opportunity to contribute towards a greener environment by contributing towards planting a tree for each car purchased, to offset the CO2 produced by the vehicle’s emissions.

Through this initiative 1,000 trees were planted earlier this week at dar Frate Jacobe in Wied il- Ghajn, currently the only proper practitioners of sustainable living and permaculture in Malta.

“Permaculture is an approach to designing agricultural systems that mimic the relationships found in natural ecologies, making it self-sustainable,” said David Gasan, Director of Gasan Enterprises Ltd. “With a little more help, the people at Dar Frate Jacobe can realise the change they are working so hard to see in the world – energy efficient, sustainable living.”
