The Mepa board on Thursday approved two applications which will give SmartCity three new restaurants, a clinic and a pharmacy.
The three sizeable restaurants are at the lower level of the retail area and their roofs are the public area in front of other retail areas which are already approved and which are now being built along with the second block of offices.
Services will be at the back and signage will be behind glass to ensure uniformity.
In front of them, these three restaurants will have a laguna, an application regarding which is still being processed by Mepa. Parking, as in the case of the clinic and pharmacy, will be part of SmartCity’s parking areas.
The other application regarded a change of use of the upper ground floor of SCM 01, the first office block built, to become a clinic and a pharmacy at ground level.
