Yellow Diamond By Versace

Malta Independent Sunday, 11 December 2011, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Versace started its glamorous fragrance line inspired by crystals in 2004 with Crystal Noir perfume, and then launched the lighter and fruitier Bright Crystal in 2006. In 2011, a new fragrance of the collection has emerged, ‘a crystal that turns into a diamond’ - Yellow Diamond, Versace`s newest luxury fragrance that has just arrived on the shelves.

Yellow Diamond is crafted as a pure, transparent and airy floral fragrance, sparkling and intense as the yellow colour, while being luxurious and feminine like a diamond. Its composition opens with luminous freshness of lemon, bergamot, neroli and pear sorbet. The heart features airy orange blossom, freesia, mimosa and water lily. The base is made of amber, precious musk and guaiac wood. The bottle is shaped like the previous editions of the collection, coloured in yellow, while its box is decorated with baroque ornaments. The face of the campaign is an Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw, shot by Mario Testino in Paris.

According to Donatella Versace, “The yellow colour recalls the brightness, sensuality and great energy of this fragrance, able to depict and emphasize the charm and femininity of a woman.”

Versace Yellow Diamond is available as 50 and 90ml EDT, with deodorant and body lotion.

Versace is distributed by X-Treme Co. Ltd and found at leading perfumeries.
