On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malta and the Valletta Spring Festival 2012, the China Cultural Centre in collaboration with the Mediterranean Conference Centre is presenting the Happy Chinese New Year Grand Art Performance which will be held at the Republic Hall on Saturday 14 January at 8pm.

The show will feature 23 outstanding artists selected from the Yancheng Municipal Company of Performing Arts of Jiangsu Province with many of the performers being awarded in competitions at State level. The audience is guaranteed an unforgettable evening full of spectacular acrobatics as well as Chinese classical dance, music and songs with a taste of the special charm of the sea salt culture of the Yancheng Jiangsu Province and wonderful and vivid presentations of the Chinese national culture.
