A recent team building exercise saw the Management team of the Corinthia Beach Resort take part in a variety of exciting activities that took them half way around Malta.
The team, made up of 21 managers and heads of department from Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay and another 14 from the Marina Hotel at the Corinthia Beach Resort, set the ball rolling by exchanging their starched executive attire for more comfortable jeans and T-shirts. They then hopped on to an open-topped bus that took them on a tour through Sliema and Valletta and ending in historic Mdina, where they enjoyed a superb lunch.
The main activity for the day consisted of a murder mystery competition whereby the 35 participants split up into teams of three and set off in search of clues around Mdina that would help them solve a macabre murder mystery within a two-hour time frame.
The event proved very competitive as each team strove to be among the first three to solve the mystery and win a handsome prize. Not surprisingly, the winning team was led by Stuart Chappell, the new General Manager of Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay, who, evidently, proved very adept at problem solving.
This eventful day was brought to a close with another scenic ride on the Malta Sightseeing bus that took them back to the Corinthia Beach Resort.
