Malta Independent Sunday, 11 March 2012, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

While some in the real estate world might not have found 2011 to be the best year ever, Dhalia Real Estate Services can look back with a sense of pride and accomplishment said incoming CEO Chris Grech at the company’s recent awards ceremony held at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands.

“We overcame a number of challenges in the last year,” he said as he addressed the conference. “Most importantly, we have forged ahead as a team and the results that we have achieved are clear evidence of the trust that the people of Malta and Gozo have placed in our brand and our abilities.”

Following the presentation of a number of certificates for the achievement of sales milestones, Mr Grech said that he was proud that Dhalia’s consultants had achieved so much and this showed in their professionalism and in the fact that they were always prepared to meet their clients’ needs.

The event then turned to the recognition of specific accomplishments over the past year, with awards in specific categories. This year, the winner of Dhalia’s prestigious Top Consultant Award was Erskine Vella in recognition of his excellence throughout the year.

The other winners of the evening were Darren Abela (highest number of lets), Matthew Barry (top letting consultant), Sandra Grech (best contributor to the inventory), Erskine Vella (highest number of properties sold), Steve Schembri (highest gross commission), and Neville Sciberras (top manager).

“Some in the real estate world might consider 2012 to be shaping up as another challenging year,” outgoing CEO Franco Valletta said, as he brought the ceremony to a close. “But after seeing the achievements of Dhalia’s team in 2011, I am certain the challenges and realities of the coming year will be overcome by the solid, united team that symbolises the Dhalia brand, and who specialise in providing the people of Malta and Gozo with solutions for all their property needs,” he concluded.
