Free Financial education from Bank of Valletta

Malta Independent Sunday, 11 March 2012, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Bank of Valletta has launched the 10th edition of the BOV Investor Education Programme, a series of informative sessions in the area of finance.

Through this programme, the bank proactively reaches out to the public with free financial education. Since its launch in 2002, thousands of people have benefited from these courses, and Bank of Valletta is once again inviting the general public to attend this year’s edition of the programme.

The content of the BOV Investor Education Programme is tailored for people who never had the benefit of any formal financial education. While not being complex, the presentations explore the most important aspects of the subject at hand. BOV also introduces new topics every so often, sometimes as a result of feedback obtained from attendees.

The first two series of seminars for the 2012 Programme will be held at Villa Arrigo in Naxxar and the Limestone Heritage in Siggiewi, commencing on 20 March and 22 March respectively. Each course consists of five, two-hour presentations spread over five weeks.

Further information on the programme can be found on the bank’s website www.bov.com. To attend this year’s BOV Investor Education Programme, kindly contact Stefan Kottmann-Soler, the bank’s Investor Relations Officer at [email protected] or telephone number (+356) 2275 3556.

Attendance is free of charge. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to those who attend all sessions.
