Bank of Valletta has launched a new design for its Visa Classic credit card promoting the association between Visa and the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Every customer who applies and qualifies for a new BOV Visa Classic Card will be entitled to receive one of the cards, which feature the logos of the London 2012 Olympic Games and of Visa, the worldwide sponsor of this year’s premier sporting event. The design also includes the instantly recognisable five Olympic Rings, symbol of the Olympic Games.

This exclusive design is a limited edition and is being issued with immediate effect and for a limited period, making this card a collector’s item.

In conjunction with the launch of the new card design, the bank has also launched a unique promotion for BOV Visa credit cardholders to win tickets to the London Olympics, courtesy of Visa.

Holders of a Visa credit card issued by Bank of Valletta can take part in the promotion by making a retail transaction of at least €25 between now and 15 May. Each transaction will automatically entitle the cardholder to a stake in a lottery to win an Olympic Games-themed travel package courtesy of Visa.

The winner will receive a package that includes flights for two to London, four-star accommodation on a bed-and-breakfast basis and two tickets per event for two Olympic Games events.
