The Commercial Banking (CMB) Malta Awards Night awarded HSBC Malta’s employees for outstanding achievements in 2011. The event was co-hosted by HSBC Malta Head of Commercial Banking Michel Cordina and HSBC Malta Deputy Head of Banking Dave V. Walliker.

“Once again Commercial Banking contributed a highly significant part of the Bank’s profit. Although 2012 will again prove to be a very challenging year, we are confident that Commercial Banking staff will rise to the occasion and achieve success once again. We are fully committed to support our business customers, particularly in this current economic climate, by assisting them to grow their business and increase their international activities and explore new Trade corridors,” said Mr Cordina, in the presence of HSBC Malta’s CEO, Mark Watkinson and HSBC Malta’s COO, Ranjit Gokarn.

A highlight of the evening was the awards presentation ceremony during which five awards were presented as follows: ‘Top Performing Manager’ - James Buttigieg, ‘Best Performing Non-Managerial’ - Alex Vella, ‘Best Customer Experience’ - Mark Curmi, ‘Best Positive Attitude’ - Sue Stafrace, while the ‘Top Team’ award went to the Corporate section.
