Easter is a time for reflection and indulging in Easter eggs and Dhalia Real Estate Services’ team got together to ensure that children around Malta and Gozo had plenty of chocolate to enjoy.
The Dhalia Easter Eggstravaganza saw 15 female staff members get together to make 80 Easter eggs. These were then distributed to Dar San Guzepp in Zabbar, the Ursuline Sisters’ Crèche in Sliema, the Arka Foundation in Gozo and the children’s wards in Mater Dei Hospital.
“We really enjoy giving back to the community around us,” said Dhalia CEO Chris Grech. “Our team pulled together and took this initiative to bring some seasonal cheer to children this Easter. At Dhalia, we foster corporate social responsibility within our staff and have a strong ethos of sponsorships and philanthropic programmes.”
“It was a fun day that saw the 15 of us work together as a fast-paced Easter-egg making machine,” Lindsey Ciantar, Dhalia’s marketing executive and organiser of the event, said. “It was a similar activity to the one we carried out at Christmas, when we made Christmas logs that were distributed to various charities. I hope that we will see many more such events in the future at Dhalia.”
“We like to think that, at this special time of the year, we can bring a smile to faces, other than those of property buyers and sellers,” said Mr Grech. “It is also a pleasure to see the strong teamwork and dedication of our staff. Most importantly, we hope the recipients of our Eggstravaganza had a great Easter and that we helped them enjoy their day,” he concluded.
