The HSBC Malta Foundation has strengthened its long-term support for Junior Chamber International (JCI) Malta with the signing of a new two-year sponsorship agreement.
“HSBC Malta’s renewed support will fund two of JCI’s flagship initiatives, the Best Business Plan (BBP) competition and the Creative Young Entrepreneurs Award (CYEA), said JCI Malta president Charlotte Gregory.
“HSBC’s financial support and professional assistance helps JCI Malta achieve its objectives and provide up-and-coming entrepreneurs with the training and expert guidance they need to be competitive,” she said.
The JCI Malta BBP competition offers participants training and guidance in developing their business ideas into a viable business plan, while the CYEA encourages young entrepreneurs to extend the boundaries of their skills and creativity through healthy competition.
HSBC Malta’s head of Public Affairs & Corporate Sustainability Josef Camilleri said: “HSBC Malta embraces JCI Malta’s efforts as a source of growth and development within Malta’s business community. Through its initiatives, JCI Malta provides the encouragement and training required to ensure that Malta’s future entrepreneurs achieve success while also valuing the central importance of social responsibility in today’s businesses practices.”
