Capital guaranteed investment linked to the Euro Stoxx 50 Index
Bank of Valletta is launching the second edition of The BOV GUARD Account, a six-year term deposit offering a full capital guarantee and the possibility of attractive interest/ return on the whole deposit at the end of term of the deposit.
The BOV Guard Account is a Structured Deposit Account denominated in euro, US dollar or pound sterling, offering a 100 per cent capital guarantee if held until maturity. The deposit is offering a potential aggregate return of 33 per cent on deposits denominated in euro, 28 per cent on accounts denominated in pound sterling and 23 per cent on accounts denominated in US dollars. The return is payable if the level of the Euro Stoxx 50 Index on the Final Valuation Date (i.e. 11 June 2018) is equal to or higher than the level on the Initial Valuation Date (i.e.11 June 2012).
The Euro Stoxx 50 Index is Europe’s leading equity index for the eurozone. It covers 50 stocks from 12 Eurozone countries, representing their respective super sector leaders.
The account is available to the general public until 9 June, or earlier at the bank’s discretion.
