Camper & Nicholsons’ Cesme Marina won the latest in a succession of awards. Following a win at the 2011 Real Estate Awards at ArkiPARC and being named “Best Marina” by the Dünya newspaper and Deniz News Agency, the marina has now been awarded “Best Tourism Investment”. This most recent trophy was presented by Izmir’s Department of Culture and Tourism at the 4th Izmir Tourism Awards held on 20 April.

The awards bring together authorities, organisations and volunteers who have contributed to the region’s tourism through various activities during Tourism Week, which aim to increase awareness of tourism in the region.
The judging panel of tourism professionals awarded Cesme Marina the “Best Tourism Investment”. The award was one of 18 presented on the night including; Best Tourism Management, Best Tourism Journalism, Best Tourism Professional, Best Travel Agency, and Special Mansions. General Manager Kemal Saatcioglu received the award from Deputy Governor of Izmir Haluk Tuncsu at the prize giving ceremony attended by leading tourism-related professionals and local journalists.
Kemal Saatcioglu commented: “Cesme Marina continues to receive accolades due to the quality of facilities developed by our owners (IC Holding and Camper & Nicholsons Marinas) and the commitment of our staff. We are delighted that the judges voted for our marina over the other nominees. Our occupancy rates continue to rise as we keep improving the marina and facilities, with most recently the extension of our breakwater that provides increased comfort.”
Cesme Marina is a 400-berth, full service, luxury marina catering for yachts up to 60m. A town within a town, the marina is home to an array of bars, shops and restaurants, as well as a full service boatyard with 80-ton travel lift and 20-ton boat mover.
