The Electronic Transaction Association (ETA) Annual Meeting & Expo is one of the largest events in the Americas that attracts key players in the payments and transaction processing industry. The event was held last month at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.

The event attracts more than 3,500 professionals in the industry who are interested in learning more about the payments industry, showcasing new products or partnerships and channel opportunities, as well as various merchant acquirers, financial institutions, payment processors and payment services providers.

RS2 exhibited at the event to promote its BankWORKS Card Management System together with its new Managed Services offering through its 100 per cent owned subsidiary RS2 Smart Processing. The RS2 Smart Processing offers solutions to customers and access to a private cloud-hosted data centre facility in order to utilise the modules and services that are required for their business.

This is offered as an alternative solution to the traditional license sales to use the BankWORKS modules. The RS2 Smart Processing is a fast and efficient solution that also minimises costs, as consumers do not need to invest as much in the necessary hardware and software to support the system when compared to the actual purchase of the licence.

RS2’s delegation consisted of Mario Schembri (chairman) and Radi El Haj (CEO) from the Maltese office, Ulrike Schäffter (director of Business Unit and Product Development) from the German office, and Mayra Meza (Executive Vice President – Project Management and Business Development) from the American subsidiary organisation Transworks LLC.
