More Than 250 participate in Nescafe photo booth tour competition

Nescafe 3-in-1 has enabled coffee lovers in Malta to enjoy a creamy and sweet cup of coffee anywhere and anytime. As its name implies – the new three-in-one sachet containing coffee, milk and sugar is poised to make a huge impact in Malta, thanks to its convenience, taste and price.

The new product is aimed at enhancing the growing trend for more convenient coffee formats among the younger consumers. This new Nescafe product offers a convenient solution for those people always on the move as well as for those looking for perfect cup of Nescafe when they are away from home. In fact, the Nescafe 3-in-1 is ideal for families enjoying a BBQ, a picnic or any other out-home activities.

A well thought out campaign by Nestlé Malta supported the recent launch of Nescafe Original 3-in-1 with the engagement of the social media functionality that has generated a lot of excitement.

A purposely designed photo booth took centre stage as it travelled to different locations throughout March and April in the Nescafe photo booth tour competition which immediately turned into a social gathering enticing people of all ages and walks of life.

Hundreds of hilarious photos of people holding the Nescafe red mug were uploaded on the Nescafe Malta facebook page. Photo Booth Competition was launched simultaneously at the University Campus and The Point Shopping Complex.

The photo booth travelled to PAVI Shopping Centre and next to Smart Supermarket in Birkirkara. Hundreds of Nescafe 3-in-1 samples were served during the events to the joy of those present.

Out of more than 250 photos, 3 were chosen by a popular vote on the Nescafe Malta facebook fan page and won a Nescafe 3-in-1 fan hamper. Runner-ups were also awarded with freebies.

The competition had been running for a number of weeks where winners were announced at the end of each of the three phases.

Over 1,500 people posted their vote. With almost 9,000 Facebook fans the competition on the Nescafe fan page, the competition had a viral spread as most of the Nescafe fans made their photo booth images into the profile pictures

“We knew in our heart that Maltese people would embrace this event in the same way they drink Nescafe, that is, with enthusiasm. It was an opportunity for all to experience the essence behind Nescafe 3-in-1,” Joanna Micallef Farrugia, Group Product Manager Nestlè Malta explained.

“Now, all the participants have the opportunity to extend their Nescafè 3-in-1 experience beyond the event. Nescafe 3in1 is a refreshing convenient coffee made to fit your taste, to fuel your everyday on-the-go hustle and bustle life. Nescafe 3-in-1 is the sum of pure Nescafe coffee with added milk and sugar,” Alfred Borg, Corporate Communications Manager Nestlé Malta said.
