The Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn has been presented with TripAdvisor’s prestigious 2012 Certificate of Excellence award.

In more than 170 reviews of the hotel on the site, over 80 per cent gave the hotel an ‘Excellent’ or ‘Very Good’ rating. The hotel was praised for its cleanliness, the helpfulness of its staff and its excellent location.

“The Hotel Calypso has a high number of repeat clients among both locals and foreigners, but this Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor is further confirmation that all of us at the hotel do our utmost to make each visit memorable,” said general manager Richard Mercieca.

The 100-room 4-star Calypso Hotel, operated by Gozo Hotels Co. Ltd, is just off the sandy beach in Marsalforn Bay. Among its amenities are two restaurants, a rooftop pool with sundeck and cocktail bar, rooms with private balcony enjoying open sea views and bay views, free wi-fi and a Business Centre.
