Three senior officers from the Institute of Financial Services Malta, Mr Simon Grech, Mr Joseph Agius and Mr Robert Sultana, recently visited Bangor University in Wales in connection with the Chartered Banker MBA’s launch in Malta.

The purpose of this official visit was to enable the IFS representatives to gain a better understanding of the university campus facilities as well as to conduct meetings with the academic and senior administrative staff of the business school, thus ensuring a problem-free offer of the EQF Level 7 masters programme in Malta.

Mr Simon Grech, IFS Education Director stated: “The Chartered Banker MBA is a specialist masters programme, particularly suited for current and future leaders within the banking industry. It is the gold-standard degree related to banking”.

Mr Grech added: “Bangor University was ranked No. 1 in the UK for research in accounting and finance in the most recent UK Government Assessment Exercise, which is one of the most sought-after rankings by UK Universities. IFS Malta is pleased to bring such a high-quality MBA to the local market”.
