What is Mozart’s link to Malta? What does Elvis Presley recommend to mothers? What do St Agatha and St Paul have in common? Saturday saw a different agenda for the Frank Salt Real Estate team, foregoing their usual house hunting for another genre of hunting – uncovering mysteries and treasures hidden in the heart of Rabat. This related to the annual spring team-building activity organised for the company’s staff by the Marketing and Human Resources Divisions.
On the trails of the Knights of St John and the early Christians pursued by the Romans, the teams tackled the challenge, solving the perplexing riddles prepared by the organisers. The route took them all around Rabat, including St Agatha’s crypt and St Paul’s catacombs as well as other sites that are well hidden from the daily visitor to this history-rich town. During the afternoon the participants also had time to admire Rabat’s architectural gems, dating from various periods in Malta’s past.
Team-building activities are nothing new on the company’s calendar of events. With Malta’s largest team of property people, team-building and social activities play an important role.
“Our team is composed of over 100 employees, from different walks of life.” said MD Joseph Lupi. “We are a growing family business, and we want to make sure that our employees feel part of this family.”
The treasure hunt’s winning team consisted of Jonathan Sammut (Accounts Division), Jacqueline Micallef (Mellieћa branch), Alison Vella (director) and Noel Galea (Balzan branch).
