Besedo provides solutions for online confidence. Founded in 2002, Besedo is a fast-growing multinational business and knowledge process outsourcing company. Currently it has offices in Sweden, Malta and Malaysia and provides services in 17 different languages in the areas of content moderation, safety, and customer communication. Malta Office being the largest of the whole network currently employs around 240 employees.

In line with its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, Besedo Ltd participated in a one day five-a-side football tournament in aid of Inspire – the foundation for inclusion, on Friday 25 May. Besedo Ltd felt that by collaborating with the organisers AX Hotels, as well as other participating companies this tournament was an excellent activity to help raise the much-needed funds for persons with disabilities. Besedo Ltd were successful in more ways than one, as not only did the team go on to win the tournament, but the wellbeing among employees was strengthened and in light of this, Besedo employees wanted to go help Inspire further. On 11 June a cupcake day was organised wherein volunteers baked cupcakes in aid of supporting the charity. The idea was to bake and sell as many cupcakes as the volunteers could manage, donating 100% of the contributions to Inspire. €150 was collected through donations and employees enjoyed the delicious treats for a day.

Inspire, which is the amalgamation of Eden Foundation and Razzett tal-Hbiberija, has become a leading NGO in the disability sector providing specialist care to over 1,300 babies, youths and adults through various educational, therapeutic and leisure services and programmes. Inspire still relies on people’s donations in order for it to offer its services for free or heavily subsidised. Without such a system, many of its clients would not be able to afford such beneficial treatments.
