PwC in Malta has launched the “PwC Online Business Analyst”, an innovative tool developed by PwC Malta’s advisory team to help business owners and managers diagnose, monitor and improve the general health of their business. This online tool assists businesses by helping them to identify opportunities and by providing them with recommendations for improvement, thereby assisting them to meet their ultimate goals.
Users are requested to respond to a series of questions covering a range of aspects dealing with business performance. The aspects examine a range of internal issues, such as the business strategy and governance, its markets and products, the management of human resources and information systems, and the management of financial resources. External issues examined include the management of external relationships, such as environmental and sustainability issues.
The questionnaire should take between 15 and 20 minutes to complete during which users have the opportunity to save it at any time and resume later. On completion, the users’ response is fed into a model that makes an assessment of the business giving a score there and then. The user will immediately after receive a detailed report by email setting out the identified weaknesses and related recommendations.
While not a substitute for professional advice, the tool leverages on PwC’s experience in assisting clients address their business issues. The questionnaire and the report should provide useful insight on the critical aspects of the users’ business, thereby assisting them in determining future actions that may be required to enhance the business.
The PwC Online Business Analyst is available free of charge at www.pwc.com/mt. Being an online service, it is available at any time and may be used repeatedly to monitor progress.
