Dhalia Real Estate Services has launched a fully equipped mobile sales office, which, over the coming months will be touring a number of towns and villages in Malta and Gozo. The mobile sales office is equipped with a large plasma screen, Wi-Fi and iPads giving access to Dhalia’s vast database of properties.

The mobile office was launched earlier this month in Bugibba adjacent to the newly opened water-park, where all the sales consultants of the company’s St Paul’s Bay office gave free property evaluations and advice to all visitors at the mobile office. The Bugibba road show was followed by another successful three days in Birzebbuga, which this time round was manned by the sales consultants from the Fgura office.

Speaking about the launch of the new mobile sales office, Dhalia’s chief executive officer, Chris Grech said: “Our objective is to visit our customers on their doorstep and provide them with free advice on property sales and investment. The feedback we received following our first two road shows was overwhelming and we are now being asked by customers to visit their own neighbourhoods. This is extremely encouraging and bodes well for the future.”

Chris Zarb and Gordon Dalli, managers of the St Paul’s Bay and Fgura branch respectively, added: “The first two road-shows were extremely successful and well attended. At first customers were a bit hesitant because this was the first time that such an innovative initiative was undertaken by a real estate organisation. However, once the first customers walked in, others warmed up to the idea and before we knew it we had a steady flow of customers. This initiative has also helped us build good relationships with the people of the locality and in some cases also led to sales and lettings of new properties.”

In the coming weeks, the Dhalia mobile office will be visiting various other towns and villages including the BOV Valletta Boat Show at Boiler Wharf in Senglea.
