The 50-strong staff and partners at audit firm RSM Malta joined their peers from around the world to mark the first ever RSM World Day, held globally last week.
With the theme Connected for Success, the aim of the celebration was to bring together the various RSM offices around the globe and raise the brand profile globally through several activities organised by the different RSM firms worldwide.
To mark RSM World Day, RSM Malta dedicated around 400 man-hours of voluntary work to the Fra Diegu Children’s Home in Hamrun, closing its offices for a day to enable its staff to participate. The RSM Malta team assisted the nuns in the painting of doors, whitewashing, gardening and cleaning.
“The RSM brand values are based on connections, personal connections with clients, with our colleagues, and with our local people. On the occasion of RSM World Day, we ensured that these connections benefit a noble cause in Malta, and we are delighted that the brand we represent brought about joy and happiness to the children residing at Fra Diegu Home” said RSM Malta partner Deo Scerri.
Other RSM firms around the globe also held events to mark the RSM World Day, ranging from traditional Indonesian games, sports days, champagne receptions and staff outings to the Pyramids and the Great Wall of China, to quizzes, yoga sessions, blood donations and a conservation project to protect the kiwi – the national bird of New Zealand.
