Employees from Valletta Fund Management Limited (‘VFM’), Valletta Fund Services Limited (‘VFS’) and Lotteries and Gaming Authority (‘LGA’) have joined forces to carry out various charitable initiatives at the Dar Sagra Familja in Zabbar. These initiatives aim to create a better living environment to members of the home.

This event has been supported by various sponsors including JCR Limited Birkirkara, Vee Gee Bee San Gwann, Vince Ironmongery Fgura and Conquest limited Marsa, who furnished the necessary materials to the employees of the VFM, VFS and LGA to carry out necessary improvements at Dar Sagra Familja including, amongst others, the painting of rooms. The employees of the three entities have also financially contributed to the expenses incurred to accomplish this undertaking through funds collected during “Dress Down Friday” initiatives where the three organizations have adopted a policy of promoting a relaxed atmosphere by allowing employees to wear informal clothing on a Friday. On this day, the employees make a donation to help and support initiatives with a good cause such as the one at Dar Sagra Familja.

These charitable events present an opportunity for VFM, VFS and LGA to place their social responsibilities at the core of their operations while also presenting all employees of the respective organizations with an opportunity to support a charitable cause.
