6PM has signed a major contract to deliver NHS Trust with their document management system for medical records.

The solution will require significant integration to the hospital’s core clinical systems, making 6PM a strategic supplier.

As part of the solution, 6PM will be rolling out the CareSolutionsTM Document Management System for Medical Records which is based on the EMC xCP platform. It will be integrated with a number of the Trust’s clinical systems including a clinical portal.

The system allows the scanning of all the medical records held by the Trust, which are then put online and are integrated into a record management solution.

The value of the contract for the first phase for 6PM services is in excess of £400,000 and will be delivered by April 2013 in preparation for phase two.
