Former Nationalist Party leader Eddie Fenech Adami has confirmed to The Malta Independent that he will be addressing this evening’s PN mass meeting at Floriana.

“I can confirm that I will be saying a few words at the mass meeting this evening,” Dr Fenech Adami said.

Dr Fenech Adami was PN leader between 1977 and 2004.

His address tonight is seen as a last-ditch attempt by the Nationalist Party to earn the support of traditional PN supporters who are still said to be undecided.

It also comes in the wake of criticism that the party has shifted away from the Fenech Adami era.
