An earthquake right in between Malta and Sicily on Tuesday afternoon has gone unnoticed by the populations of both islands – but it has been reported on the website www.meteoweb.eu
The tremor was recorded at 3.51pm on Tuesday, and registered 3.3 on the Richter scale. The epicentre was at a depth of 10.4 kilometres to the south east of Sicily or north east of Malta.
The tremor was not felt on either island and no damages were reported.
