Rock nets and rock bolts will be installed to control the erosion of rocks at Ghar Lapsi, Infrastructure Minister Joe Mizzi told Parliament.

Asked by Nationalist MP Ryan Callus on how the government is addressing rock erosion, the minister said that this problem is affecting various parts of the coast in the area. Mr Mizzi said that work will start in those zones that are regularly frequented by the public.

In reply to another question by Mr Callus, the minister said that the Siggiewi local council is carrying out embellishment and maintenance works in the area.
