President Emeritus Eddie Fenech Adami has been transferred from the critical coronary care unit to another ward at Mater Dei Hospital where he will be under observation for the next few days.
Speaking to The Malta Independent online, his son Beppe Fenech Adami said Friday morning that although he is not a doctor himself, he can see that his father is much better than yesterday although he needs a few days to recover.
The former President and Prime Minister was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital at about 9am yesterday complaining of chest pains. He later underwent a coronary angiogram under the care of the Cardiology Team.
Dr Fenech Adami, 79, had heart problems in the past and has a pacemaker.
