Mepa has postponed a decision on plans to build a block of flats in a narrow street in San Gwann.
San Gwann residents and Flimkien Ghal Ambjent Ahjar have objected to the project, saying it is too big for Zbibu Lane.
During a hearing today, the project architect for San Gwann Ltd said that the plans had changed since the original application had been filed in 2004.
The proposal today is for 60 apartments on four storeys plus a semi-basement. The development, he said, would consist of three blocks with a private road in between.
Another meeting will be held on September 5.
