Malta Independent Tuesday, 24 September 2013, 10:44 Last update: about 12 years ago

SR Technics, part if the Mubadala Aerospsace MRO network, has signed a contract with Aigle Azur Transport Aeriens, a French airline based in Orly, to provide C-checks on two Airbus A319 aircraft, the company said in a statement today.

The aircraft will be inducted in November and December of this year, and the work will be completed out of ST Technics’ narrowbody Centre of Excellence in Malta.

This further extends the relationship between the two companies. In 2010, Aigle Azur signed a long-term agreement with SR Technics for the provision of C- and A-Checks on 12 of the airline’s Airbus A320 family aircraft. In July 2013 the two companies entered a joint venture for light and line maintenance activities for the airline’s Airbus A320 family and future A330 fleets in France.

“We have used SR Technics Malta’s facility in the past were were very impressed with the team’s professionalism, reflected in the high quality standards and commitment to on-time delivery of the aircraft,” Vincent Guerin, Technical Director ai Aigle Azur, said.

“Repeat business in many ways is a reflection of the overall customer value you provide,” Andre Wall, president of SR Tehnics said. “This new contract with Aigle Azur demonstrates our team’s approach and focus on delivering high quality products, reliably meeting delivery schedules, all at a fair price.”
