Last-place Chievo Verona has fired coach Giuseppe Sannino after winning only one of its opening 12 matches in Serie A.
Chievo made the announcement on its website Tuesday, two days after holding Milan to a 0-0 draw.
Chievo has six points and has scored a league-worst seven goals.
Eugenio Corini, who coached Chievo last season and helped the squad avoid relegation, is expected to be put back in charge.
It's the fourth coaching change in Serie A this season.
Delio Rossi was fired by Sampdoria on Monday after Fabio Liverani (Genoa) and Rolando Maran (Catania) were also let go.
