Three One News journalists will be joining Public Broadcasting Services next week, sources told The Malta Independent online.
They are Brandon Pisani, Rodney Vassallo and Dorothy Falzon.
PBS will be recruiting a fourth journalist who has been working with the national station for some months through the Strickland Foundation scheme. He will now be a full-timer.
One News, the Labour Party's station, had lost most of its journalists soon after the election after they joined ministries and parliamentary secretaries as communications coordinators or in other positions.
The sources said that journalists working at Net TV who applied to join PBS were all refused. None of the people working at Net TV - run by the opposition Nationalist Party - were granted a second interview.
The sources also said that veteran journalist Charles Sacco is now managing the TVM website.
