Enemalta has restored electricity supply to parts of Zabbar, after a transformer in the area developed a fault.
On Saturday evening, an unscheduled electricity supply interruption was registered in parts of Zabbar. Engineers and technicians were immediately sent to the substation supplying this area. They identified a fault in its transformer and began the required operation to replace it. Works will continue throughout the night to restore electricity supply as soon as possible.
Enemalta regrets any inconvenience caused by this unscheduled interruption. The Corporation is committed to continue upgrading its distribution network to ensure that similar disruptions are avoided.
Enemalta said Sunday morning that all areas affected have had their electricity restored.
