The National Fisheries Cooperative today appealed to the government to consider building a breakwater on the Delimara side of Marsaxlokk Bay to ‘eliminate’ the risk of accident in bad weather.
In a statement, the cooperative said that now that the permit for an LNG tanker in Marsaxlokk Bay had been issued, a breakwater should be built to eliminate the risk of accidents which could come about because of bad weather conditions.
