Spanish forward Alvaro Morata is nearing a transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus.
Juventus says that Morata completed a medical with the club Saturday, so it shouldn't be long before the deal becomes official.
The transfer price was reported at €18 million ($24.3 million), with Morata expected to sign a four-year contract. The deal also reportedly includes an option for Madrid to buy Morata back for €35 million ($47.3 million) in two years.
The 21-year-old Morata scored 10 goals in 37 league appearances for Madrid in the past four seasons.
At Juve, Morata could be a second option in attack behind Carlos Tevez and fellow Spaniard Fernando Llorente.
Days after Massimiliano Allegri replaced Antonio Conte as coach, Juventus has also expressed interest in signing Argentine midfielder Roberto Peyrera from Udinese.
