AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi is hoping to guide Fernando Torres back to form.
Milan has signed Torres from Chelsea on a two-year loan deal, subject to a medical which the forward is currently undergoing.
Inzaghi says "it's not up to me to describe his worth on the pitch, it's up to me to help him return to being the player we all knew."
Torres joined Chelsea from Liverpool in January 2011 for what was then a British-record fee of 50 million pounds (then $81 million) but struggled to command a regular starting place for the London club.
The 30-year-old striker was welcomed by more than 200 fans when he arrived at Milan's Linate airport early Saturday afternoon.
Torres says "I want to maybe stay here many years."
