An important objective which the innovative museum in Victoria il-Hagar is aiming at is a wider appreciation of our artistic heritage. An essential sector is obviously the new generation and so immediate collaboration was extended to artist-educator Mario Cassar. It thus hosted one of the sessions for the enthusiastic Form 2-4 students participating in the Summer Course he organised, emphasizing on-site drawing and painting. 

In fact visits by groups of children and students from all age groups take place quite often, not necessarily led by art teachers. As an example one can mention the classes from St Francis Primary who, after guided tours, followed attentively some of the video clips available in the media rooms. Though mainly showcasing natural and artistic gems, these also include one featuring the founder of the Congregation running the school: Margherita Debrincat recently declared venerable.
